I’m C. Brian Stevens, a special education paraprofessional and teacher’s aide at a local high school, a writer, musician, and multidisciplinary creator. Music is one of the ways I explore the questions, stories, emotions, and ideas that fascinate me. My work draws from progressive rock, jazz fusion, classic rock, poetry, literature, history, film, and the strange connections between them. I write original songs that often grow from poems, literary themes, historical subjects, personal reflection, or a simple idea that refuses to let go. I also create deeply curated playlists and self-produced “Rabbit-hole” podcasts designed to turn curiosity into exploration and learning. Whether I’m writing a song, developing a cinematic story, building a playlist, or following an idea down a rabbit hole, I’m interested in the same thing: discovering what’s underneath the surface and finding a creative way to share it. For me, music isn’t just something to hear—it’s a way to think, feel, remember, question, and connect.
