💚Evagreen💚

I write to make sense of things. To hold onto moments. To say the things I can’t always say out loud. To turn my feelings, memories, observations, questions….all the beautifully messy parts of being human into something I can share, release, maybe even set free. What I love most about creating here is that moment when the words I write become something I can hear. How a melody can change the meaning of a line. How one word sung differently can change an entire song. I don’t really choose a genre and then write a song to fit it. I let the writing tell me what it wants to become. Some songs want to whisper. Some want to shout. Some want guitars, some want bass, some want to dance, and some just want enough space for the words to settle in….there probably won’t ever be one Evagreen sound but there will always be one Evagreen voice. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to truly listen to the meaning as much as the music. My songs aren’t normally open for Remix but if one speaks to you and you’d like to cover it, just ask.
