Beneath the mountain’s frozen crown, Where silent waters tumbled down, You held me close, yet far you stayed, A shadow bound by vows you made. You know nothing, Jon Snow, Of the fire that burns below. In the dark, where rivers flow, You know nothing, Jon Snow. The cave was warm, the world was still, No walls of stone, no swords to kill. I offered you a place to hide, But you chose storms and war outside. You know nothing, Jon Snow, Of the peace you’ll never know. In my arms, you could have grown, But you know nothing, my black crow. You spoke of oaths, of duty’s chain, But oaths are dust beneath the rain. You kissed me once, but not enough, To choose my love when times grew tough. You know nothing, Jon Snow, Of the heart you let go. In the cold, my shadow grows, And you know nothing, my black crow. And when I fell beneath the sky, I saw the truth behind your eyes. Too late, too far, you came to see, What you had lost, what you took from me. You know nothing, Jon Snow, Of the fire you’ll never know. In the dark, the embers glow, You know nothing, Jon Snow.
