Tumbling Down the Rabbit Hole
Once upon a time there lived a girl name Alice. Alice loved having people over to play at her house. She loved everyone and everything. She loved Kathy's kitty, she loved Gordon's golf balls, she loved Jacob's ladder and she loved Pam's pillows. [Chorus] She loved Kathy's kitty, she loved Gordon's golf balls, she loved Jacob's ladder and she loved Pam's pillows. Every day and every night her friends came over to play, sometimes in twos, sometimes in threes, sometimes in whole groups! Alice didn't mind, the more the merrier! (The more the merrier) One day, after a long week of having people come in and out of her home Alice noticed something odd. "Oh no!" She cried. "My carpet has bugs!" (My carpet has bugs) She sobbed looking down at the dirty bug ridden carpet. "Oh No! No one will want to play at my house now." Sad little Alice thought and thought how she could fix her bug problem. Then it came to her! She sprang up to her feet and announced out loud to the bugs. "I will get rid of the carpet, and then I shall not have anymore of you nasty bugs!" Happy with her decision, she called her friends to invite them all over that night after her chore was done to celebrate. [Chorus] She loved Kathy's kitty, she loved Gordon's golf balls, she loved Jacob's ladder and she loved Pam's pillows. Alice's friends were aware of why they were celebrating, and her friends said to her. "Alice, we love you and your home no matter what. We would have come over even if the carpet was still there. You see Alice, we all have bugs too!" (We all have bugs too) Alice was feeling much better and they all came over that night and played fast and hard and with glee. Alice learned that it didn't matter if she had bugs, as long as she kept her home open to her friends, they would always come to play. [Chorus][Gospel choir] She loved Kathy's kitty, she loved Gordon's golf balls, she loved Jacob's ladder and she loved Pam's pillows. [End]
