The Land of Twizzlebum

June 1, 2024 at 6:01 AMv3.5

In the land of Twizzlebum, the sky is always plaid And the trees are made of licorice, which really isn't bad The rivers flow with chocolate, and the mountains are all pink And the sun is just a disco ball, which makes you want to wink The clouds are made of cotton candy, and they dance around all day While the elephants play banjos, and the flamingos all ballet The moon is just a paper plate, hung up there with a string And the stars are little jellybeans, which makes the night-time sing The grass is all electric green, and it grows up to your knees And the butterflies are made of glass, so you can see their knees The rain falls up instead of down, and it tickles as it goes And the snow is all soft and fluffy, like cotton balls or toes So come along to Twizzlebum, and see the silly sights You'll never want to leave again, it's just too full of lights! In the land of Twizzlebum, the sky is always gray And the trees are all withered, in a sad and sorry way The rivers run with tears, and the mountains crumble down And the sun is just a distant memory, that no one's seen around The clouds are dark and heavy, and they never seem to leave While the elephants all weep, and the flamingos only grieve The moon is just a distant dream, that no one can attain And the stars have all gone out, leaving only endless pain The grass is all dried up, and it's as brown as can be And the butterflies have all died, leaving only misery The rain falls hard and cold, and it never seems to stop And the snow is all icy, and it never seems to drop So come along to Twizzlebum, and see the sorrow there It's a place of endless sadness, where no one seems to care. In the land of Twizzlebum, the sky is always black And the trees are all barren, with no leaves to come back The rivers run with blood, and the mountains crumble down And the sun is just a memory, that no one wants around The clouds are filled with thunder, and they never seem to part While the elephants all mourn, with a heavy broken heart The flamingos lost their wings, and they cannot fly away And the moon is just a ghost, haunting every single day The stars have all gone out, leaving only endless night And the grass is all dead, with no chance of growing right The butterflies have all been crushed, leaving only broken wings And the rain falls down like tears, washing away all things So come along to Twizzlebum, but be prepared to cry It's a place of endless sorrow, where hope has gone to die. In the land of Twizzlebum, the flames now light the sky The trees are all burning, with a fierce and crackling cry The rivers have turned to steam, and the mountains crumble down And the sun is just a memory, that no one wants around The smoke clouds the air, and the ashes fall like rain While the elephants scream, in terror and in pain The flamingos turn to ash, and their feathers float away And the moon is just a smoldering ember, with nothing left to say The stars have all been consumed, by the raging, fiery heat And the grass is all scorched, beneath the dancing, angry feet The butterflies have all vanished, leaving nothing but the smoke And the rain is all but forgotten, as the flames consume and choke So come along to Twizzlebum, but be prepared to flee For the land is all but lost, to the inferno and the sea of debris.
