Verse 1: Yo, hark! Let me speak with ye, thou fiend of night, I come from fair Verona, in truth's pure light. No jest, no foolery, my words be sharp as daggers, A poet, a player, I'm the king of all swagger. From A Midsummer's Night to the tempest’s rage, My quill be my sword, and the world is my stage. The fair Juliet’s love, that sweet sorrow's tale, Yet Romeo’s heart got caught in love’s gale. Chorus: To be or not, I ponder in this flow, The stage is set, now let the story go. Thou art the words, I craft them with might, In this rap, I be the bard of the night! Verse 2: With sonnets I conquer, with rhymes I take flight, Wit sharper than blades, my mind's a keen light. I mock the pompous, I bring down the proud, In this world of fools, I speak it out loud. O’ Caesar, beware the Ides of the day, Thy fate is sealed, thou cannot delay. But methinks in life, 'tis the drama we play, The jesters rise high, and the kings fall away. Chorus: To be or not, I ponder in this flow, The stage is set, now let the story go. Thou art the words, I craft them with might, In this rap, I be the bard of the night! Verse 3: The crown may be heavy, but I wear it with grace, Betrayal and envy, all things I can face. From Hamlet’s dark doubt to the Macbeth’s cruel fate, The power of words will determine thy state. So listen, ye lords, ye ladies, ye knaves, For in this rhyme, Shakespeare be what saves. I spit the truth, the tragedy and the jest, In this rap game, I am the Bard, the best. Chorus: To be or not, I ponder in this flow, The stage is set, now let the story go. Thou art the words, I craft them with might, In this rap, I be the bard of the night! Outro: So mark these lines, let them echo and rhyme, The Bard hath spoken, now we end this climb. With rhythm, with reason, I shall ever reign, The world be my stage, and this flow’s my domain!
