Indeed, that is the trick, isn't it. As part of a society based on consumption, we are bombarded with the idea that, to be successful, we need "MORE!, BETTER!, THE LATEST". However, that is an idea driven to excess, in service to capitalism. Thus many are driven to discord under the hypothesis that they are not enough or don't have enough. The "dollar" moves from being an opportunity to the "sword of a thousand cuts". You have the talent. Write something about it!
