While on a business trip, we created this track together as an experimental translation project using Japanese lyrics kindly provided by Dim. It’s the first time for both of us to collaborate in this way, and I’d like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to Dim.✨ Please enjoy the track if you feel like listening.✨ --------------------------------------------------------- [Verse 1] Petals spilled down the hill we used to walk And I remembered something you almost said yesterday I looked up at the sky as I wandered home And thought — “They’re blooming again this year.” [Chorus] Maybe now, I could tell you Why I stayed quiet back then The day we waved, the day we held hands They still hide somewhere in the spring air [Verse 2] I sat at the bus stop, sipping canned coffee Same taste as that spring — just a little colder It wasn’t “fate,” or anything that grand It was just… you saying my name. もっとシューゲイズの幻想的な感じはバリエーションで出せたんですが、歌詞が桜だけに少しJ-POPよりに留めました。
