Memories of Childhood
December 28, 2024 at 7:26 PMv3.5
A treehouse perched in the old oak tree, Where laughter danced and we felt so free. Summer breezes, the smell of pine, Moments simple, yet so divine. Barefoot runs through grassy fields, Imagination, the shield we wield. The world was ours, a boundless land, Castles built with grains of sand. Whispers shared beneath the moon, Dreams of growing up too soon. Yet now we long for those sweet days, Where time stood still in golden rays. So close your eyes, let memories play, The child within still finds a way. To keep those treasures, pure and bright, Our childhood’s glow, a guiding light.
