My Electric Car

[synthesizer intro] [verse 1] It's an exciting day, no doubt about it my electric car has arrived at my nearest dealership it's the car of the future (yeah, yeah) you can drive it 100 miles without a charge Can go zero to sixty in half a second I'll be the envy of my town, that's for sure it can even drive itself how's that for cool [upbeat synthesizer solo] [verse 2] Arrived at the car dealership took me a couple of hours don't have electric cars where I live I stepped inside, full of excitement Just about to pick up my own Knight Industries Three Thousand! The salesman greeted me, and shook my hand I signed some paperwork and the car was mine! He took me out to the lot and there it was My ninety thousand dollar beauty waiting for me It started up silently and I headed home The drive went quickly it was exciting I got into town, the car's battery was drained So I started looking for a charging station And I realized something [Chorus] Oh, the town I live in isn't electric car ready there's no charging stations anywhere here Not a single one to be found where I live You could say this was a huge oversight On my part when buying this car I could have even had a station installed at my home, for a reasonable price but I didn't do it I didn't do it [Verse 3] The car died on the side of the road I called the tow company, and they picked me up Is this a car?
