This hits really close, man. My dad's birthday just passed, and It was a hard one. He's been gone for a while now, but it doesn't really get easy to handle. Thanks for this, really.

I wrote this song thirty years ago, which was about a dozen years after my father passed away, and it was one of the hardest songs I've ever written. Working on setting this to music was even harder, but I am so glad that I did.
