Feel it Deep

This one definitely falls into the "experiments" category. This entire project started because of someone that has no idea he even triggered it (though I suspect seeing the tags he may have an idea, but that would unlikely be for the reason he thinks). I saw a comment describes French House as being a style coded in minimalism and more about the musicality of the words than the actual count. This piqued my curiosity because if you know anything about me, minimalist usually ain't one of my descriptors. My brain is a constant train of thoughts steamrolling through concepts while also managing to go off-rail and back on it somehow most of the time. Hence, this felt like an interesting self-challenge to tackle: what would happen if I clashed my mind with a style it knows next to nothing about (even though I do enjoy listening to it) and that goes against all of my natural tendencies when writing lyrics? And there you had it, the inception of what would lead to this experiment. Not the actual music, but the idea behind it. Now I don't know how well I did. This may very well be a complete failure style-wise, and what I created might be something entirely separate. Actually I'm fairly sure this is the case, this style is rather foreign to me, I went in mostly blind and even brought in some of my personal taste that may very well not fit. While this feels minimalist to me, is it really? But hey, too late to second guess now.
