I'm glad there's a man

[verse 1] I'm glad there's a man living under the bridge in some small way he makes me feel rich I go to work breaking my back praying I'm not the next one to slip through the cracks [verse 2] I'm getting a little older every day and the bills are getting harder so much harder to pay student loan and they want to garnish my wage [verse 3] and did you hear the president say go to school get a higher education but now they're giving high tech jobs to the people in other nations and we don't manufacture much seems our country is being run by wealthy people out of touch [Verse 4] with the needs of the working man and I know that we all gotta eat and I am an American but I aint free just another slave another victim of this world's monetary ways
