I see you're trying out other genres and voices, Very well, This song beautifully captures the bittersweet journey of healing and opening up to love again. The seductive Latin and R&B influences with that saxophone fusion is very pleasant, making it comforting and empowering. A song full of hope and emotional resonance!🎶

Thanks! I have always loved the sax, so naturally I figured if I was going to break away from my country songs for a night, I would have to work on something with some smooth jazz in it.

Thank you, I sincerely appreciate that. For me, it's all poetry, which I've been studying and writing for 50 years. I was going back through some old stuff and saw this one and decided to try it as a jazz mix. I figured this style of music is more forgiving if you don't have a chorus, and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. My 19 year old self that wrote the poem is very happy!
