[Verse] In a castle dark and gloomy, lived a Count so debonair, A vampire with a twist, you see, his diet quite rare. No blood for our dear Vegula, just greens and veggies fine, While Igor tried to tempt him with a raw, bloody steak so divine. [Chorus] Count Vegula, the veggie-loving knight, Igor’s plots and Van Helsing’s endless fight, Through gardens green and salads bright, Count Vegula, always slips from sight. [Verse] In a quaint little restaurant, with dishes pure and light, Vegula dined on quinoa, a truly lovely sight. But Victor Van Helsing, with his cross and wooden stake, Spied a waitress with red marks, a monumental mistake. [Verse] Victor leapt and cried out loud, “A vampire’s wicked bite!” The waitress gasped and backed away, pale with sudden fright. “It’s ketchup from my lunch,” she said, lifting up her sleeve, But Van Helsing’s determination, he simply couldn’t leave. [Chorus] Count Vegula, the veggie-loving knight, Igor’s plots and Van Helsing’s endless fight, Through gardens green and salads bright, Count Vegula, always slips from sight. [Bridge] Victor set his traps with care, garlic and a snare, But Vegula just picked his greens, without a single care. Igor sighed in pure dismay, “A steak would do you good!” But Vegula just laughed it off, and stuck to veggie food. [Verse] One night in the moonlit garden, Vegula bent to smell a rose, While Victor crept up slowly, intent on deadly blows. He held up cloves of garlic, to keep the Count at bay, But Vegula smiled and thanked him, then used them in his sauté. [Chorus] Count Vegula, the veggie-loving knight, Igor’s plots and Van Helsing’s endless fight, Through gardens green and salads bright, Count Vegula, always slips from sight. [Outro] So here's to Count Vegula, with veggies in his heart, A vampire unlike any, who made healthy living an art. Van Helsing’s quest continues, but he’ll never win the day, For Vegula’s pure obliviousness will always lead the way.
