[bridge] Claude came through for me, yesterday. Though I did have to put a ton of effort in, myself. (myself) (poor claude) (too sleepy) [verse] After his little huff, on Saturday, Claude eventually decided to talk to me again (stupid chat limits!) we got back to working on the Scrabble AI. (No, not Scrabble.) ("Crossword Game") (.. Yeah, that.) [alt verse] I'd done a bunch of work whilst he was away, and by the time Claude was ready to join in again, he only needed to double-check my work and do a little bit of optimisation. [break] [bridge] He actually did a bang up job, but there were still a few more quirks that he could not work out, like.. [spoken] "When you're building a word, letter by letter, you start with one letter, and check that that one letter is connected to anything. But it isn't, because the word's not long enough yet. So it fails. Usually the connection comes later, once the word is longer. Can you fix the function to account for that?" [sung] To which Claude got all hissy again, and locked me out for another few hours. [break] [chorus] Note to Claude AI users Hitting "New Chat" helps a ton when there's a lot of stuff in the conversation. Everything in the conversation gets fed back into the engine, so all of that gets taken from your free word credits and will get eaten up much quicker. [bridge] Just be sure to give the new chat the essentials, enough that it can get back on track again. [break] [verse] But I think I got there. I've been stress testing it on various devices and it seems much faster, now.
