This was written after someone really close to me said, "I wish she loved me like she did before." The song wrote itself, and I hope one day they hear the song and realize that sometimes it is better to love and be loved than to keep loving and loving with nothing coming back.

reminds me of a lady I used ta love, and still do, but now she married to a good guy and I wish them a long happy life, haha they even had me make them a sword for there wedding gift haha 🫶😊

I keep telling him, true love will come, and while he can't remember what it is like. True love is having the new love feeling from the same girl for the rest of your life. I would laugh at myself for a mistake before she would, her first instinct is to see if I am OK, there will be time for poking fun at each other ater. LOL He is finally seeing it is better to remember what they had than hang on to what they have.
