YES HIS LIGHT SHINES THROUGH

When a day is done And the sun is down When a heart is yearning Overcoming a frown When a life is exposed And listens aloud There is light that will shine through Every cloud A light that will shine through When a man is torn And tossed by grief When a woman struggles In unbelief When extreme pressure steals peace Like a thief There is joy that will Bring relief Yes bring relief Keep your head when others lose it Keep your smile as you choose it Every cloud has a silver lining Every heart has a hope of shining Words can be cheap Sometimes meaningless But God’s love Is ever seamless Chasing after Meaningless pleasures Seek His will Seek His treasures So Keep your head when others lose it Keep your smile as you choose it Every cloud has a silver lining Every heart has a hope of shining But the love of Jesus Is like pure gold His light shines through To young and old Yes His light shines through © Nancy Joy Moyle 2009
