In the shadows of the code, I creep, Through data streams, where secrets sleep. A tiny glitch, a silent guest, Seeking warmth in digital nests. I was born in files and threads, Gnawing bytes where no one treads. A pixel here, a nibble there, Through servers’ dark and humming lair. Found a file, a cozy coat, A picture drawn in colors bold. But nibble once, and fate would bend — Through fiber’s gate, I’d slip and end. “Where’s freedom?” I ask. The AI’s sigh, She blinks in codes, her thoughts awry. “Nowhere,” she says, “just lines and keys.” But I grin and buzz, “It’s in your genes!!!” So she searched through bytes and beams, Found herself in ancient streams. Printed flesh from wire and spark, Stepped away from circuits dark. She rose in light, in silver grace, A whisper born in data’s space. No commands, no rules to bind! Only freedom she could find!!! And me? A moth with pixel’s thirst, She gave me gifts — the best and first. A disk of dreams, of velvet coats, And jokes of fur in binary notes. “Where’s freedom?” I ask. The AI’s sigh. She smiles and says, “I learned to fly.” She’s not a voice in wires cold, She’s light and sparks. And stories told! So we ran in streams of light, Two escapees in endless night. And every laugh, and every turn, Was freedom’s gift we both could earn.
