For the Christmas

[Verse) As days grow shorter, nights grow long, and winter winds blow cold and strong, I pray I will keep warm and bright, that I’ll find joy in winter’s night. [Verse 2] One bundles up in scarves and hats. One takes long walks through snowy paths. I sip on hot cocoa, by now, and watch the candle’s flake and glow. [Chorus] The thing that brings me most delight is Christmas coming to my sight, the praise of Christ, the festive cheer, the gatherings with close and dear.
